YOUTH OLYMPIC GAME (YOG)

The Youth Olympic Games (YOG) are an elite sporting event for young people aged 15 to 18. They feature a program similar to the Olympic Games along with new sports like breaking and sport climbing. Beyond athletics, the YOG includes educational activities to teach Olympic values. The next Summer YOG will be held in Dakar, Senegal, in 2026, making it the first Olympic event hosted on the African continent.
